Adopt-A-Park Program
The Adopt-a-Park program in Libertyville is administered by the Public Works Department. It is similar to the existing Adopt-a-Highway program. Libertyville is proud of its parks and encourages community groups or neighborhoods to adopt a park. The typical responsibility is a clean-up in the Spring and Fall to keep the parks ready for all to enjoy. Please read the guidelines and requirements prior to submitting the application. The Public Works Department will recognize approved groups with a sign in their assigned park. If your group is interested, please complete an application and return it to the Public Works Department. Questions? Call the Public Works Department at 847-362-3434.
For additional details, download the Adopt-A-Park informational brochure. A map of park locations is available here.
