November is National Native American Heritage Month
At the October 25th Village Board meeting, Mayor Johnson issued an official proclamation recognizing November 2022 as National Native American Heritage Month. This is part of a continuous effort to recognize heritage months in Libertyville.

In support of the month, we encourage residents and visitors alike to engage in additional resources for education and celebration:
-The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) is hosting an online Native American Business Roundtable on Thursday, November 10th.
-The Library of Congress hosts a national resource website cataloguing events and resources for the month.
-The White House issued a proclamation deeming November 2022 as National Native American Heritage Month.
